My photography style is whimsical yet grounded, rooted in natural light, genuine emotion, and soft direction that lets you feel like you. Whether it’s a quiet forehead kiss, your vows echoing through a golden-lit chapel, or wildflowers swaying around a loved one - I aim to preserve the kinds of memories you’ll want to return to again and again.
I work with a Sony Alpha 7 iii, Lightroom, and a heart that sees the world a little softer. You’ll never feel rushed, stiff, or overly posed - instead, you’ll feel like you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Do you travel for Elopements?
Yes! This will be a service coming in 2026. It will be a case by case variation of pricing since every shoot is so unique. Message me to share your vision and travel plans and we can create a plan together to create magic!
I'm having a Micro-Wedding instead of a regular, big wedding. Do you still charge the same?
I own a sister-company called Forever In Joy that hosts all inclusive Micro-Weddings and Elopements here in Overland Park for under $3k. This service includes an officiant, photographer (me), decorator, baker, and florist. We have multiple packages here so you can easily customize your dream day! Message me for more information.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
If I don't have another shoot following your scheduled time slot and I can stay, I absolutely will! My hourly rates are around $250, and you can always add that on if available + more edited photos if you would like. This goes for all shoots.
What kind of gear do you use?
I have the Sony Alpha 7iii, Godex Flash, iPhone 15 Pro (BTS), and a lens collection that is forever growing!
Do you do Watermarks?
Never! For aesthetic purposes, I believe you deserve these photos to have fully as YOURS. I have in my contracts to always tag @official.hms.photos on Instagram in your posts, or HMS Photography on Facebook. That way we all benefit without adding unnecessary words to your art.
What is your editing style?
I.do.it.all. I adore the freedom of flow as each shoot is so unique. I tend to lean more towards crisp, vibrant, with a touch of vintage: however I am open to ALL styles. I like to always ask what your emotion/feel is for your shoot so I can tailor my editing to you personally.
